Short History: After a brief spell of a former Union, The African Friendship Association, which embraced all Africans and Germans in and around Worms, Ghanaians in Worms soon realised that there was a need to get together again, taking into consideration all the mistakes that led to the collapse of the African Friendship Association which lasted for 9 years, starting from 1983.

On the 5th of May, 1998, the following people therefore met and formed this Union

Ghana Union Worms has today a membership of 71 and it’s membership is not onlyLimiterd to Ghanaians in Worms, but to all neighbouring cities.
